Flash has it's place on the web, it isn't to deliver content, it isn't in user interfaces or form design, the only place in our opinion Flash has it's place is for fun and Nespresso has achieved this brilliantly. When developing sites we often need sample or dummy text to fill pages and assist with layouts. Traditionally we would use Lipsum an industry standard since the 1500's for dummy text. Now we have found a new dummy text service, to help lighten up what is dull dummy text. cupcakeipsum.com, and we love it.
When developing what appears to be a simple newsletter subscription form you need to aware of a number of issues that might arise, such as site crawlers automatically submitting the form with false content, invalid content and mysql injection attacks. Any of these can cause everything from an annoyance to a major issue with the website. We also make sure that we cover these basis as standard as to avoid these issues

Although http://101.gs/ did integrate quite nicely and quickly, the intermediate page once the URL has been clicked is extremly annoying and would put of a lot of vistors. We have intergrated bit.ly into one of our previous websites avalish.com and were impressed by the ease of integration and quality of the service. Two thumbs up for bit.ly
