Sometimes we come across non-developer problems that require solving. We recently came across the more than common problem of trying to remove a sim card from an iphone5.
After searching through our office trying to find a paperclip which in the past has done the job quite nicely, we we're unable to find any of the little items.
So after working out the mechanics of needing a thin yet strong 8mm or so long piece of plastic or metal, we came across the humble and possibly underutilized staple.
Simple fire a staple from a loaded stapler, making sure not to aim towards the face (for health and safety reasons) and that the catch plate isn't in place as the staple needs to be in it's original form.
Place one end of the staple into the sim card hole, while carefully placing the phone with the staple in the hole on a desk or work colleagues forehead, we recommend a desk.
Gently push the phone gentle down towards the desk and hey presto, jobs done.
